I want to start by sending out a big thank you to our roommoms, Laurie Katalinich & Carrie Crain, for organizing a fun end-of-the-year party! The kids and I had a great time. I also appreciate all the parents who came out to join us. I want to say a personal thank you to everyone for the lovely class gift. As you can imagine, I am very excited about spending a few lazy days by the pool next week, which can now be followed up with a fun shopping spree. You were all so very generous, and I cannot thank you enough. As most of you know by now, I will not be returning to Ocee next year. I am planning to explore some of my other interests before I settle down with a family of my own. It is a very bitter sweet time, but you have all helped to make my last year teaching a truly wonderful and memorable experience. Thank you for sharing your children with me and allowing me to be a part of their lives. I know I am going to be missing them when August rolls around and I don't have a class to prepare for, so I have created an e-mail address to keep in touch. PLEASE know that I only want the students e-mailing me with your permission. I want to hear about all of their success stories and big accomplishments because I know they have such bright futures ahead.
